Philadelphia Flower Show
"Hawaii, Islands of Aloha "

March 4 - 11, 2012

Location: Philadelphia Convention Center. Philadelphia, PA

Flower Show Website

Each year members of the Pennsylvania Bonsai Society display their trees at the Society's exhibit at The Flower Show. This display is one of the best-known and best-loved by Flower Show visitors. Up to twenty trees are displayed in a tranquil setting, seeming far away from the bustle and noise of the show. Each tree is displayed in its own "moon gate" (a large circular window), carefully lighted and staged to show the tree to its best advantage. Trees displayed range from"mame"(up to eight inches in height) to large"two-man"(up to 42 inches in height) trees. Flowering trees, such as azalea, are in full bloom, while deciduous trees are shown in winter silhouette.
